Souk Al-Benaa respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in line with the laws of the State of Kuwait and CITRA's data protection regulations.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed).
- Order data: delivery address, product details, purchase history.
- Payment data: processed directly via the Hesabe gateway — we do not store any card details on our servers.
- Usage data: IP address, device type, pages visited, visit time.
How we use your data
- Processing orders, delivery, and after-sales service.
- Account management, sign-in, and authentication.
- Communicating with you about orders and important notices.
- Improving the service and aggregated usage analytics.
- Complying with legal and accounting obligations.
Sharing your data
We share data only with: the suppliers involved in your order, our delivery partner, our payment gateway (Hesabe), and our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase). All partners are bound by strict data-protection standards. We never sell your data to third parties.
International transfers
Some of your data may be processed on servers outside Kuwait (such as our infrastructure provider's servers). We ensure that protections equivalent to those in Kuwait are applied.
Data retention
We retain account and order data for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations (such as keeping invoices for at least 5 years).
Your rights
- Access your data and request a copy.
- Correct any inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and data (subject to legal retention).
- Object to processing and withdraw consent.
- Contact the regulator (CITRA) if you believe your rights have been violated.
